Organised by the MRAG Members Committee, the event will see more than 300 paintings prints and sculptures up for grabs from 10am on Friday 6 August to 5pm on Sunday 12 September.

Art lovers will be able to purchase works from the likes of Lottie Consalvo,Locust  Jones, James Rhodes, Charles Blackman, Wendy Sharpe, John Olsen, Madeleine Winch and paintings from  Warlukurlangu – Artists of Yuendumu, with prices starting at just $50.

Also, 50 paintings from MRAG’s junior members will also be on sale.

MRAG Members Committee Chair Sui-Linn White said all funds raised will help support arts education and access programs at the Gallery.

“With these funds, the Members Committee supports things like Free Art Sunday for kids and families and other programs for all ages and abilities,” Sui-Linn said.

“The MRAG Members Art Sale is the major fundraiser for the Gallery’s Members Committee and we are thrilled that the sale is going ahead this year with an incredible variety of beautiful works of art available at a range of prices.

“We’re excited that the community has this opportunity to start or add to their art collection, and support established and emerging artists.”

Gallery DirectorGerry Bobsien added: “The Gallery is supported in so many ways and we’d like to acknowledge the passion and commitment of our members and the work of our Members Committee who do so much to promote and champion the Gallery.”

?We also recognise the support of our commercial partner, Dominik Mersch Gallery, and its stable of artists for  donating a proportion of all sales of the work to the Gallery.”
