The Newcastle Jets have announced a new partnership that’s worth raising a glass to.
Family-owned and Merewether-based, Modus Brewing has been announced as the club’s newest sponsor, throwing their weight behind the women’s and men’s teams, for the 2021-22 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
“We’re thrilled to announce a partnership with Modus Brewing and want to thank them for their ongoing support. As long term fans of the brewery, the whole club and I are over the moon,” Newcastle Jets Exec Chairman, Shane Mattiske said.
“We appreciate the brand’s core values, craftsmanship, and of course, the delicious and refreshing beers, and the fact that they’re now local is an added bonus.”
While Modus Brewing has been around since 2014, this year they set up their headquarters in Merewether and have been getting involved in local communities ever since.
“Getting the opportunity to partner with Newcastle’s A-Leagues franchise is truly an honor for us at Modus Brewing. The team, the city, and its people have always stood for hard work and integrity, which perfectly aligns with our values and how we approach our craft,” Co-founder of Modus Brewing, Grant Wearin said.
“We are excited to provide the passionate fans with a beer to help soothe their vocal cords at home games, with a proportion of all Modus sales going directly to benefit the club.”
Part of the deal will mean that thirsty Jets’ fans will be able to enjoy an icy cold Modus product at all Jets home games at McDonald Jones Stadium this season and Modus will also be the exclusive beer at No.2 Sportsground for Newcastle Jets A-League women’s games.
