Well, fear not, because the Lighthouse Festival, set to take over Norah Head this November will definitely tick all of those boxes.
Perched on a headland overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Norah’s exquisite coastline, it’s, without doubt, one of the more breathtaking festival locations in Australia.
All of this waxing lyrical about picturesque vistas is all well and good, but what about the music?
Well, you’re in for a treat because this year’s iteration will be headlined by none other than Missy Higgins!
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Missy’s irresistible melodies and emotionally honest lyrics have been tugging. at Australia’s collective have heartstrings since her self-titled debut EP dropped way back in 2003.
Fast forward a few years, and with such hits under her belt as Scar, The Special Two, Steer, and Everyone’s Waiting, Missy Higgins has become one of this country’s best-loved singer-songwriters.
If that wasn’t enough, you’ll also be treated to the sweet sounds of Warrnambool-raised songwriter Didirri who, like Missy Higgins isn’t afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve in his aching, haunting and ethereal tunes, as well as Central Coast up-and-comers Elaskia and Sam Windley, who was a finalist in Triple J’s Unearthed High 2020 competition.
Add to that an array of amazing tastes from around the globe (made using fresh local produce) and some of the best boutique wine one the market, and you’ve got yourself one heck of a feast for all senses!
