MINT CONDITION: The Aussie mini music series you need right now

An independent Australian mini music dramcom series of five 11-minute episodes that you can only watch online. How 2020 is that?

The series is called Mint Condition and we think it’s just what your weekend on the couch needs.

Heading up the all Aussie cast is Sibylla Budd from Secret Life Of Us. She plays a single mum who decides to open up a record store. Bernard Curry from Wentworth is also onboard and Gary Sweet plays a has-been rockstar with a drinking problem who teachers piano. But the star of the show has to be newcomer, Grace Champion.

A lot of the series is shot on location in Fitzroy’s Oh! Jean Records. And that’s not the only Melbourne thing going on here.

On top of the various locations in Richmond, Brunswick’s and Collingwood there’s also a soundtrack that features some of Melbourne’s musical bourgeoisie. During the five episodes, you’ll hear music from Jade Imagine, #1 Dads, Nat Vazer, Cool Explosions, Charles Jenkins and Mick Thomas just to name a few.

You can steam Mint Condition in full on Vimeo or head to the Mint Condition website to find out more.
