The Minds Matter Music Festival is back this weekend with a huge day of live music, conversation, and community spirit at The Lass O’Gowrie Hotel brought to you by MKZ Productions.
Now in its second year, the all-day festival isn’t just about a stacked lineup of bands. It’s about shining a light on mental health, challenging stigma, and raising vital funds for Headspace Newcastle and Listen Up Music.
Every ticket sold, every set played, and every conversation sparked contributes directly to mental health support services in the region.
The lineup is as loud as the cause is important, featuring Trophy Wyfe, Chain Daisy, Toast, G.A.G, Lamphead, Resident, Regikay, Badwitch, Sooky Lala, C.O.B.B, Inimata, Bardvarkk, Closure, Poltergiest 9000, Quorn B2B Wortho, Way Lie and headlined by Downgirl.
From heavy riffs to atmospheric grooves, the diversity of acts ensures there’s something for every lover of music.
Beyond the music, Minds Matter 2025 is about creating a space where people can connect, reflect, and support one another. Attendees can expect honest conversations about mental health alongside the energy of live sets, making it as much a gathering of mates as it is a festival.
This year also brings a limited run of exclusive Minds Matter merchandise, available only at the festival. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, making it a wearable reminder of an event that’s built on community, compassion, and the power of music.
The Minds Matter Music Festival kicks off at 2pm on Saturday, August 30, running through until 2am Sunday at The Lass O’Gowrie Hotel, Wickham. The event is 18+ and tickets are available now.
