Australian singer, songwriter Mia Dyson has announced that she will play a show at Lizotte’s in Newcastle on Friday, October 3.
A four-time ARIA-nominated and award-winning artist, Mia Dyson has been busy in the US (where she’s now based) touring with the likes of Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Chris Isaak and even Joe Cocker.
Her second American-made album, “Idyllwild” continues her exploration of the boundaries women face in their day-to-day lives. Equipped rock and roll band, a guitar built by her father, and “a sublime grit & gravel voice that lands her squarely between Lucinda Williams & Bob Dylan”(Boston Globe), Mia is set to wow critics and audiences when she embarks on this tour.
Mia Dyson plays Lizotte’s on Friday, the 3rd of October. For more information about the show, you can contact the venue via their website.
