After 15 years of traversing the many highways of this wide, brown land, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is back in Newcastle for the June long weekend.
Now in it’s 16th year, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow transports fresh faced and well-known comedians from the fancy theatres of Comedy Festival head quarters to stages around the country in the ultimate comedy odyssey.
Stopping in for the Newcastle leg of the tour are Cal Wilson, Greg Behrendt, Ronny Chieng, Beau Heartbreaker and Rhys Nicholson.
Keep your eyes on the Newcastle Live Facebook page this week as we take the opportunity to profile the comedians on the bill and showcase examples of their stand up work.
The Roadshow will be in town on June 6 – 8 at The Civic Theatre. For more information and to buy tickets visit the Civic Theatre website – http://www.civictheatrenewcastle.com.au/whats-on/2013-12-06-04-39-51/shows/item/48-melbourne-international-comedy-festival-roadshow
