The sensational Mega Creatures returns to the Hunter Valley Gardens this April, just in time for the school holidays!
This immersive experience allows participants to roam among the dinosaurs and life-sized mega creatures with guaranteed close encounters with Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Triceratops and more! If you’re looking to really ignite your imagination, make sure you check out the mythical beasts in the Dragons Den! The HVG Amphitheatre has been taken over by flying (and fire-breathing) creatures from a land before time. Step into the shoes of an archaeologist for a day and hunt for fossils, clues and dino-facts.
The best thing about the Hunter Valley Gardens in April? It just happens to be the BEST place to hunt for Easter Eggs. So says the Easter Bunny and so say us. Head to the gardens over the long weekend to catch a glimpse of the Easter Bunny himself and join the hunt for thousands of giant Easter eggs scattered throughout the grounds. You must book your place for the Easter Egg hunt online, just so the Easter Bunny knows you’re coming!
But what about an after dark experience? As the sun sets at Hunter Valley Gardens, the pre-historic and mythical creatures will come alive with specialty lighting displays for the Mega Creatures Night Safari.
