Mark Wells picks up where Bob left off

Have you been enjoying Bob Corbett’s residency at the Duke? Well hold on to your hats because Mark Wells will be taking over the reins while Bob’s on tour and it all kicks off tonight (July 23).

Mark’s emphasis on writing memorable tunes and delivering energetic performances has earned him a swag of awards, radio airplay and a legion of dedicated supporters over the years. Touted as one to watch by the legendary Bill Chambers, Wells has been riding a wave of success ever since he won the Songwriter’s Prize at the Telstra Road to Tamworth in 2008.

His residency at The Duke Of Wellington in New Lambton in Bob Corbett’s absence will be a real treat for locals and fans of the talented artist. Joining Mark on stage tonight will be Ben Pittman, Jason Bone and Marty Paget.

Mark has promised some original tines, some songs by  Bob Corbett (for those suffering Bob withdrawals) and a few diverse covers.

For more information about the show and to book a table you can contact the Duke Of Wellington Hotel.
