Majora provide live sound track for Surf Movie at Lizottes

Newcastle band, Majora will play their EP, ‘Iridescent’  this Wednesday night (Feb 24) at Lizotte’s in Lambton. The performance will provide a sound track for the Australian Surf Movie Festival and Tim Bonythons – Swell Chasers Rough Cuts Tour.

The show (starting at 8pm) will be held at Lizottes on February 24th as part of Newcastle’s annual Surfest.

Majora is a progressive/post-rock, Instrumental quartet who were awarded the opening spot at last year’s THIS THAT festival held on the Newcastle Foreshore.

They play a mixture of post rock, progressive metal and atmospheric ambient music that has been well received by local audiences and critics alike.

This is the second time the band have provided music for the screening and if last time is anything to go by, this will be a show you don’t want to miss.

Purchase tickets and find out more about the show by visiting the Lizotte’s website.
