The whole “free taco” thing is to celebrate the eatery’s Powered by Plants range which includes stuff like Mexicali Mince and Veggie Veracruz.
Vegan taco enthusiasts should get their stomachs into gear though, because this cruelty-free offer kicks off tomorrow and is strictly limited.
The fine print is that you’ll need to be a Mad Member and enter the code “MEXICALI” to get your freebie.
Once you’ve jumped through that hoop you can order one crispy corn or soft flour Mexicali taco, per customer, in-store or via the Mad Mex app.
And you don’t have to be living a meat-free lifestyle to enjoy one of these bad boys either.
The Mexicali Mince Taco is an absolute flavour bomb mixing Mad Mex’s special soy-based protein with tomato, cumin, onion, paprika, chillies, and garlic.
“Our customers have really embraced our Powered by Plants range which includes Mexicali Mince and Veggie Veracruz since launch,” Founder and MD of Mad Mex, Clovis Young said.
