A lucky Rankin Park woman has defied the odds by winning $100,000 in the Lucky Lotteries for the second time in just over a year.
Her most recent win came a year after her previous $100,000 windfall in July 2022.
The fortunate winner, a regular player, was in disbelief when she discovered her ticket had the winning numbers once again.
“I was at work yesterday, and I knew the Lucky Lotteries draw was happening,” the lucky winner said.
“Afterward, I decided to check my wallet to see if I had become a millionaire. I saw the results and thought, ‘oh, there’s always next time!’ I then decided to check if I had won the 1st Prize, and I was shocked. I said, ‘I won it! I won it! I’ve done it again! I’ve done it again!'”
She immediately shared the news with her mother and expressed her gratitude to Lambton Nextra for her remarkable double win.
Her newfound fortune will be directed toward home renovations, with plans to knock down her garage and embark on some much-anticipated remodelling.
The winning ticket was purchased at Lambton Nextra, located at 97 Elder Street, Lambton.
