The local beer lovers behind Modus Brewing say their newly released beer is far from predictable.

Launched today, the journey to Modus Hazy wasn’t a quick one. The team behind the beer conducted an exhaustive process over the last six months, running blind taste tests and refining the recipe based on feedback from sales, marketing, production, and venue teams.

With more than 20 hazy beers sampled from across Australia, the brewery found that few stood out, and that’s when they decided to create a product that could truly make an impact.

What sets the Modus Hazy apart, according to the brewery, is its bold flavour and aroma. The beer features layers of fruity, aromatic tang, a hallmark of the hazy style, but with an added depth and complexity that they believe reflects their brewery’s identity.

But Modus didn’t stop with just the beer. The brewery also put serious effort into creating packaging that stands out from the crowd. Rejecting what they called daggy craft beer designs, Modus gathered feedback through informal survey panels that were more like laid-back sessions with beers and good tunes.

The Modus Hazy will be available to buy online at mobrewing.com.au, at independent bottle shops or at local Dan Murphys and BWS stores.
