Federal MP for Newcastle Sharon Claydon and Federal Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese joined Father Paul Berezniuk at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Adamstown on Sunday afternoon to hear heartbreaking stories of resilience.
96-year-old Stefania, who fled Ukraine from the Germans and Russians after WWII spoke at with Ms Claydon who told her story to Tracy Mac on Newcastle in the Morning.
