Newcastle’s 90º Studio in National Park Street are looking for ten acts, across all genres, who are based in Newcastle. They want to produce a single for each act and compile their first-ever sampler album.
The album, to be released in December 2015 on vinyl, will be used to promote the work of their engineers and producers and given away for free at Musos Corner as a promotional tool.
Bands will get 4 days in the studio for recording and mixing, and Singer/Songwriters get 5 days in the studio for pre-production, recording and mixing with an in-house session band!
What you’ll get:
- Full page in the album booklet (design supplied)
- 20 copies of the album on vinyl
- the digital master files and audio stems of the track
- Ownership of the mechanical copyright – the recording is yours! (some provisions apply)
- session photos
Total Cost to acts: $750.00
There are some conditions:
- Music must be original
- The selection of acts is at 90º Studio’s discretion
- Must be available July – Oct 2015
- Must be available for Mon-Sat days & nights during the above dates, for your allotted time.
- Sessions will be consecutive days (4 or 5 day blocks) with some flexibility.
- If selected, 50% of the cost must be paid by July 31st, 2015
