REWATCHABLES: Local live streams that deserve repeat viewing

There’s been no shortage of great local muso hitting the interwebs to live stream performances over the last few months. So much in fact that there’s a good chance you may have missed some of the amazing virtual gigs that have been captured.

The good news is, you can still watch them!

Here are just 5 Local livestreams you may have missed, or demand rewatching.

JUSTIN NGARIKI: Novo Lounge Sessions

This performances, from one of Newcastle’s most loved musos, features some classic covers and originals that deserve more listening.

GRACE TURNER: Isoaid

This is Grace’s Isoaid performance taken from her Instagram Live and posted to Facebook for repeat viewing. The short set is recorded live a Sawtooth Studios and features performances of her songs Don’t Hold On and Hands To The Light.

CHOP: From A Distance Sessions

We first saw Chop perform at the Hunter School Of Performing Arts and were blown away by their sound and musicianship. This From A Distance Sessions perfectly captures what we loved about them and will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time.

MELODY POOL, TRAVIS COLLINS & ANDY ABRA: William Crighton Campfire

William Crighton has hosted many campfire sessions over the last few months but this lineup featuring Melody Pool, Travis Collins & Andy Abra is our favourite. Site back with a whiskey or a hot chocolate and enjoy!

DAVE WELLS: The Essential Sessions at The Stag & Hunter

This livestream is the third in the Essential Sessions series and captures the complex and delicate songwriting of Dave Wells perfectly. Dave enjoys a chat with the live audience and people watching online and is a great introduction to the amazing Dave Wells for those who’ve never seen him perform before.
