Newcastle punk band, The Gooch Palms, have signed with American talent agency Panache Booking.
Panache Booking is a boutique talent agency with offices in Brooklyn and San Francisco in the United States. The Gooch Palms join a number of Aussie acts the agency have on the books, including King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
The duo, who embarked on a 17-date tour of America during September, have also been collecting fans along the way, including hip hop heavyweight Andre 3000 of OutKast. Themusic.com.au reported the OutKast front man left the The Gooch Palms “Detroit show with an album and a T-shirt”.
During the tour, the band also worked with San Franciscan producer Bob Marshall, of Bauer Mansion, to record their first international release, which will be out later this year.
