Live music and Good Vibrations this Saturday at The Regal

To complement their final screening of the film Good Vibrations at noon this Saturday (August 2), The Regal Cinema in Birmingham Gardens will play host to local band Hawaii Three-O who will provide a welcoming soundtrack for ticket holders.

The band will kick off at 11:30 am to welcome guests, with The Regal offering complimentary Hawaiian mocktails for all who attend. The film (to be screened at noon) is a funny, affectionate portrait of the man who ushered in the birth of the independent rock scene in 1970s Belfast, starring Richard Dormer and featuring Liam Cunningham (both from Game of Thrones), this is a ramshackle rock movie, with Dylan Moran (TV’s Black Books) and Jodie Whittaker (Marchlands) adding fantastic performances to the mix.

Sold-out sessions at the Melbourne International Film Festival make this screening a must for local lovers of cinema with all tickets costing $7.00
