HOP TO IT: This free DIY beer event is just brewdiful!

The unabashed joy of taking that first sip of a successful batch of homebrew is the focus of an online event that is sure to have beer fanciers frothing with excitement.

In case you were unaware, this weekend – Saturday 6 November to be exact – is Learn To Homebrew Day and Newcastle Brew Shop are getting in on the action.

The Islington-based beer meisters will be hosting a free virtual event that promises to be a celebration of all things homebrew.

The two-and-a-half-hour Brew Along event will see the NBS Brew Crew take you, step-by-step, how to put down your first brew with a Morgan’s Premium Starter Kit.

You’ll also discover just how simple it can be to make your own brew from fresh wort kits with a slew of tips from a professional brewer and get a peek at the whiz-bang Grainfather G40 Homebrewing System

Honestly, if you’re a beer fancier looking to break into the excitingly alchemic world of homebrew or are just looking for inspiration for the next step in your homebrew journey, this is the event for you.

Learn To Homebrew Day was established back in 1999 by the American Homebrewers Association to promote arguably one of the most delicious activities of all time, to the masses.

Each year since, on the first Saturday in November, homebrewers worldwide brew beer and celebrate all things homebrewing.

Newcastle Brew Shop’s Brew Along Facebook Live Event is on Saturday 6 November. Head here for more information and to register.
