Over the last few weeks, much to the delight of local residents, food trucks have been popping up all around Lake Macquarie. And this weekend some of the lake’s favourites are back serving up lashings of yummy goodness to fulfil your cravings.
Organisers, Tangerine Events, are no strangers to the food truck game. Their first-ever event, the Twilight Food Market was held in Maitland back in 2016. Since then they’ve been running regular pop up food and wine events in Blacksmiths, Speers Point, Stockton and the Station in Newcastle.
This weekend Lake Macquarie will be treated to the tastes and smells of Southern Smoke, who are renown for all things American, Souvlaki On The Run with a menu of traditional Greek souvlaki, Bonjani Woodfired Pizza, Taco Locato and 16 Seeds who serve up fresh juices, coffees and a list of cafe style dishes.
