Lake Macquarie celebrates Australia day with fireworks

The Australia Day Festival at Lake Macquarie will be a great family friendly day of activities for kids, entertainment, music, amusement rides, and a fireworks display. It’s all happening at Speers Point Park on Tuesday the 26th. 

NOON – National anthem and flag raising ceremony

12.15PM – Paper Planes on the big screen

NOON – 4:00PM – CALM’s Splash down stress free including a giant slide, bring your togs!

NOON – 4PM – Big yellow bus, water activities, face painting, Mobile Video games van

1:30 – 5:30PM – Live music by local talent

1:30PM & 5:30PM – Aerobatic displays

4:00PM – Annual scouts canoe race

4:35PM – Mayors welcome and presentation of scouts canoe race winner

6:15 – Live music by 1927

7:50PM – Live music by Richard Clapton

9:00PM – Fireworks!
