King Street has announced some must-see gigs as part of the Great Southern Nights initiative in March 2024.

You might as well pitch a tent in the laneway for a couple of weeks because it’s back-to-back gold here including a very special Ruby Fields event that will see the singer-songwriter hit the stage at King Street for two shows in one day including an all-ages gig.

Originally encompassing hundreds of venues statewide, in the last couple of years Great Southern Nights has narrowed its focus to key music communities around New South Wales, including Newcastle

By concentrating efforts regionally, Great Southern Nights is aiming to bolster the initiative’s reputation, and commercial viability, and contribute to the NSW Government’s goals of driving visitation to regional centres and supporting the broader visitor economy.
