While they may’ve gone into a bit of a hibernation in 2018, the beast that is the big riffing behemoth Karnivool stirred again in January this year with a run of dates in Western and South Australia.
Luckily for us, those gigs went so well, with all shows sold out, that the band have decided to visit the rest of Australia and Newcastle is set to get some Karnivool love next month!
The run, dubbed the Praxis Tour, is sure to remind fans how unique the atmosphere at a ‘Vool show actually is.
Karnivool are also very excited and honoured to have “the remotest metal band in the world” Southeast Desert Metal join them from Alice Springs on the tour.
It has been a long time between drinks for Karnivool, with the band’s last long player Asymmetry dropping in 2013, but such is the love for this five piece, that this is one show that is sure to sell like hotcakes.
Catch Karnivool at The Cambridge Hotel on Thursday 30 May.
