We love a good collaboration here at Newcastle Live, especially when it comes to the meeting of culinary minds.
You can imagine our excitement then when we discovered that from the good folks at Susuru have teamed up with the equally good folks at MEET to produce what Susuru are calling one of their most exciting ramens to date.
The Smoky Red MEET Ramen formulated by chefs Daniel Pires from MEET and Chris Schofield from Susuru, features some of the most delectable-looking smoked beef brisket we’ve seen in some time.
Add to that a gorgeous base of Susuru’s traditional miso flavoured chintan (slow boiled chicken broth) soup and lashings of Sichuan spiced chilli oil. kimchi roasted eggplant. smoked paprika, tomato, capsicum and kikurage salsa, soy butter glazed Shiimeji mushrooms and pickled jalapenos and you’ve got yourself a dish to write home about!
We all know that all good things must come to an end, though and this flavour bomb is only available from today (Monday 23 September) until Monday 7 October, so get in quick.
If you’ve been to either of these inner-city eateries you’d know that they can definitely bring it, so the thought of them joining forces is definitely enough to get the taste buds tingling.
Looks like that’s lunch sorted for a while!
