Country Singer / Song Writer Jasmine Rae, kicked off her ‘Heart Beat” album tour last night at Lizotte’s Newcastle with what was a fantastic show, highlighting many of the tunes from her new album ‘Heart Beat’ which was released today.
This is the first time we’ve caught Jasmine live “wow, wow, wow”, to say we were blown away would be an understatement. Jasmine on stage is engaging, packed full of energy with a power, range and a passion in her voice that is just astounding from that tiny 4’9” frame. Described by ARIA and APRA winning singer/songwriter/producer Shane Nicholson as “a world-class singer in any genre,”
The highlights of the night amongst many for us were ‘First Song’ a track written just after the passing of jasmine’s father, being the first song she had written that her father would not get to hear, just beautiful. Another song we loved was ‘When I Found You’ penned for Jasmine’s best friend’s wedding.
