Vika Bull shot to fame with her sister in Joe Camilleri’s Black Sorrows. The next decade found Vika embracing a range of musical possibilities on a string of albums recorded in various countries and settings. In July Vika Bull will take to the stage at Lizotte’s in Lambton to present her one-woman show, At Last The Etta James Story.
We chatted to Vika ahead of the shows at Lizotte’s on July 15 & 16. We chatted about her first experience hearing Etta James, how she put the band together and how she keeps good vocal health on the road. You can hear the interview below.
