Comedy, dance, song and empowerment. That’s what’s on the menu at Lizotte’s for International Women’s Day.
Local singers, Pamela Gully, Sharon Knight, Navina Honey and Kim Mac have joined forces with some of Newcastle’s most celebrated musicians Robbie Long, Steve Mac, Jarrod Gibson, and Jason Tyler for a performance they hope will both entertain and empower.
“Honouring the power of storytelling through song is our way of celebrating and showcasing the significant contribution our women make to the community,” Kim Mac said.
“As women of Newcastle and also of music, uniting in song with fellow musicians and live music/arts supporters presents an ideal way to celebrate unity”.
The show will include a cabaret-style support act featuring comedian Sarah Gaul, dance artist Dani Cooper and soloist singer-songwriter, India, followed by the main act with WoN Love.
Tickets for the Sunday 8 March show are on sale now and are available at Lizotte’s Newcastle on (02) 4956 2066 or online at https://lizottes.com.au/live.
