There’s no denying that our fair city is home to some of the brightest artistic talents in the country.
And you will have the chance to get up-close and personal with Newcastle’s thriving creative community when the IGN Art Fair kicks off at Newcastle Art Gallery next month.
The brainchild of Independent Galleries Newcastle, the IGN Art Fair brings Newcastle’s artist-run spaces, commercial galleries and collectives under one roof, giving you the chance to nab some unique local art.
Running over three days – from Friday 6 August to Sunday 8 August, the fair will feature displays from twelve of the region’s most well-known indie art spaces, as well as artists and collectors in conversation with ABC Newcastle’s Dan Cox, a Friday night pop-up bar and live music, and more.
It’s a great way to talk directly to the artists and gallery directors while a taste of the different flavours of each gallery at once.
