THAT’S NO GOUDA! Hunter Valley Cheese & Chocolate fest postponed to 2022

In news that is sure to be a major blow to the region’s fromage fans and chocolate connoisseurs, the Hunter Valley Cheese & Chocolate Festival has been postponed.

Due to run at Hope Estate on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 July, organisers, this week, made the difficult decision to move the event to Saturday 23 July 2022.

Hope Estate owner Michael Hope issued a statement on Monday, saying that all efforts were being made to ensure the 2022 iteration of the popular food fest would be bigger and better than ever.

“This has been a tough decision to make, given there’s such a high demand for activities and events, ” he said.

“A lot has changed with COVID, especially with a tasting event like Cheese & Chocolate, along with the changes that our vendors have had to make within their businesses.

“We realise we have to accommodate for these changes and would rather make this call now and concentrate on making 2022 an amazing experience.”

Ticketholders are advised that tickets will automatically be transferred to the July 2022 date. For questions and more information regarding the postponement, email info@hopeestate.come.au
