Currently under construction at the old Morisset Golf Course, the site will soon be home to a massive 30,000-person amphitheatre-style concert venue to rival any offering in the state.
Overwhelmingly you folks want to see home homegrown talent christen the stage. Some of the top suggestions were acts like AC/DC, The Screaming Jets and Paul Kelly.
When it came to international artists, the top suggestions were Metallica, Foo Fighters and U2.
But most people reckon that the honour of playing the first show at Cedar Mill Lake Macquarie should go to local acts who play stages around Newcastle and the Hunter on a regular basis.
