Some of the best acts in Newy will be heading to Hamilton’s Gallipoli Legion Club this week to lend their talents to a MAMMOTH live stream eevent.
The good folks over at From A Distance Sessions in conjunction with Support 4 Newy, have seen fit to stage the ambitious Homegrown event – an eight-hour live stream featuring eight awesome Newy acts.
Speaking of the acts it’s quite the eclectic lineup, too with the brilliant indie rock three pice Cooks and Bakers and fierce, melodic punks Jones The Cat leading the charge.
If that wasn’t enough, septet Slapjack will bring the funk while noisemakers Chop will be sure to test some sonic boundaries.
Add to that surf rockers, Milky Thred, power poppers Midway and The Loose Leeches, and psych funksters Turtle Custard, and you’ve got yourself a banging day of quality local tunes!
Also, if the lure of live performance is proving too strong, or if you’re just getting sick of being stuck in your lounge room, you can actually front up to this shindid in person but you’ll have to get in quick for physical tickets because, for obvious reasons, they are strictly limited. Oh, and patrons will also have to be seated.
So if you love supporting local live music then this is one gig that you won’t want to miss!
