Homegrown Alt Punk outfit Dust take on the world with debut EP

Awabakal land / Newcastle-based dual guitarist-vocalists Gabriel Stove and Justin Teale, along with bassist Liam Smith, guitarist and saxophonist Adam Ridgway, and drummer Kye Cherry, serve up their take on post-punk progressive with dust, effortlessly blending experimental jazz and electronica into a sound that you’ve been searching for since the hay days of Violent Soho.

To launch the EP aptly titled et cetera, etc, and off the back of a successful appearance StateSide at BIGSOUND, Dust are taking their unique sound on a whirlwind tour through the UK and Europe.

Keen to have a listen to the EP before it officially drops to the public? Head to the Lass on March 26th for one hell of a party and dust-raiser. Co-headlining with crowd favourite Crafterface, Dust will be joined by Busted Head Racket and Yev Kassem. Doors open from 3pm, tickets are $10, with proceeds helping Dust raise a little extra hell on tour.

Tickets for Dustraiser are available online here or at the door at the Lass O’Gowrie Hotel on March 26.
