HOLD TIGHT: This That ticket holders cross fingers for February festival

This afternoon This That festival organisers asked ticket holders to “hold tight” while they explore all options to host the much-loved festival in Wickham Park on 26 February.

While the Queensland leg edition of the festival is 100% confirmed to roll into Sandstone Point on Saturday, 5 March, it’s uncertain what recent event restrictions, announced by the New South Wales state government, will mean for This That in Newcastle.

Organisers have also assured ticket holders that if the festival is cancelled they will offer all ticket holders a full refund.

“To our Newcastle ticket holders, we have worked tirelessly over the past two years to do our best to deliver THIS THAT to you, and to fall short with the recently announced restrictions by one day is devastating, we’re extremely disappointed on the decision but understand,” the statement reads.

“Right now we’re asking our Newcastle ticket holders to please hold tight for a week while we explore all options for the NSW event and will update you as soon as we know more/

“We appreciate your understanding and will have an update for you on Newcastle very soon. And to our Queensland fam, see you in a few weeks!”
