After opening their awesome music store in Wallsend on May 4th 2019 Hiss & Crackle Records have now moved.

Sure, it may only be 40 or so steps from their original location but this new store means more space, and that means more music!

Something which plenty of Novocastrian groovers, and owner Mitch, are no doubt very excited about.

For anyone who hasnโ€™t visited Hiss & Crackle Records yet is an emporium of new and pre-loved vinyl records, CDs and yes – even cassettes.

Having been in the business of bringing sweet sound to the purchasing public for decades, if Mitch doesnโ€™t have it, he will always do what he can to get it.

You will also find a bunch of other music-related paraphernalia at Hiss & Crackle including posters, merch, turntables, and vintage audio equipment.

You can now find Hiss & Crackle Records at Shop 5, 117 Nelson Street, Wallsend (Entry on Tyrrell Street). In these COVID-19 days more space within the store means an increase in the safe number (following the 1 person per 4 square metre rule) of punters, bringing the new total to 20 customers at a time.

Hiss & Crackle requests all customers use hand sanitiser on entry and has implemented a regular cleaning regime.

They also have curbside pick up available on request as well as delivery, within 20kms of the store, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Visit the Hiss & Crackle Records website to check out the music goods on offer and to order online.
