High energy, tap comedy comes to the Civic theatre

Inspired by the real life Rat Pack of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr, The Tap Pack is the tale of 5 performers finding themselves, within a show, within a performance, within real life, within a theatre.

The act features some of Australia’s finest tap dancing performers singing, dancing and joking in a show that highlights a timeless style.

Fresh from performing a season at Sydney’s Hayes Theatre the Tap Pack is directed and co-created by Nigel Turner-Carroll.

Nigel is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in an Independent Production in the 2012 Sydney Theatre Awards for his role of Tim in The Greening of Grace. He has travelled throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia, with shows like Hot Shoe Shuffle, Leader of the Pack, Saturday Night Fever, and more recently West Side Story.

The Tap Pack plays the Civic Theatre on October 24th, 25ht and 26th.
