Heartbeat of the Hunter is the region’s newest music festival. It’s happening in September and is shaping up to be one of the most exciting on the 2024 live music calendar.

THE TICKETS

General Admission tickets for Heartbeat of the Hunter start at just $20 bucks for kids under 12 years old. An Adult ticket will set you back $90 and the family-friendly festival also offers tickets for kids aged 12 to 15 years. All festival-goers under 16s years must be accompanied by an adult and, of course, you’ll need to be over 18 and show photo ID to be permitted into the bar area.

THE LINEUP & SET TIMES

With a line featuring headline acts like Busby Marou, Ash Grunwald and local party starter Robbie Mortimer, you know you’re in for a good time. Couple that with sets from Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, country music royalty Adam Harvey and local favourites The Viper Creek Band and you’re pretty much guaranteed to be toe-tapping with your hands raised high into the air all day!

THE LOCATION & GETTING THERE

Tocal Ag College is located in one of the most beautiful spots in the Hunter Valley. The rural industries trading facility is blessed with lush, green, rolling hills and a stunning backdrop across the valley. Combine that with all the vibes of a festival and you’ve got yourself a pretty epic spot for a live music event.
You’ll find Tocal Ag College at 815 Tocal Road. There is plenty of onsite parking, so you’re welcome to drive, but why not take advantage of the Return Bus Transfers from several key locations including Maitland Train station which will be running from Newcastle every 30 minutes!
THE FOOD & BOOZE

The festival will boast some well-stocked bars and a lineup of food vendors serving up gourmet delights and festival favourites.
You can also add an antipasto or cheese Hamper to your ticket. Both hampers feature a selection of yumminess including cheeses, dips, crackers, a fresh baguette and sweet items. Both options are perfect as dinner for two or grazing for up to six people. Click the button below to find out more.
THE VIP TREATMENT

A VIP Festival ticket gets you into the 18+ VIP Marquee and includes dinner, a free drink on arrival, access to the VIP bar, a poly-carbonate wine glass or a can cooler. And you’ll get to take part in a meet and greet with the artists – Just like a real VIP!
