Hear The Rumour this Saturday night

Novocastrian all star band, The Rumour will be treating punters to a night of all their favourite hits this Saturday (May 31) at Warners At The Bay.

The Rumour is comprised of experienced and well-known professional performers with a collective history of over 100 years of experience. Their set list reads like the party set from the best night of your life and this Saturday night you can expect to hear big hits from acts like, Fleetwood Mac, The Black Keys, The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Sneaky Sound System and many many more.

Fronting the band are two of Newcastle’s most love singers, Karyn Raftery and Marty Worrall. Marty has been singing in bands since he was 16 and has performed all over Australia and the South Pacific. Marty finished 6th in the second series of “Australian Idol” and is the current house backing vocalist for Channel 9’s “The Voice” – The Voice behind the Voice if you please.

Karyn has been performing in some of Newcastle’s most popular bands for over 20 years. She is best known to many as her alter-ego, Georgie, from the award winning band The Curvetttes, playing to record breaking numbers in venues all over NSW.

The band are on stage from 8:30pm
