Heaps Gay Newcastle celebrated its first birthday with a mammoth blowout at the Lass on Saturday.
However, the stellar occasion was marred by the theft of two pairs of luscious lips that were adorning the Lass beer garden fence.
Taking to social media this week, organisers have issued a plea to punters hoping for the safe return of the artworks.
“PLEASE HELP: These Lips got STOLEN last night,” the post read.
“These are very special to us, made by our friend Nikki.
“PLEASE DM if you saw anything or know where they might be. We are so upset and are so disappointed to know that someone has taken something that we put up for the community.”
The post ended by offering a reward of lifetime free entry membership to “every Heaps Gay ever,” to anyone with info leading to the safe return of the lips.
