HEADBANGER’S BALL: Thrashville to make a triumphant return after a year off

After bowing out in 2019 due to the ravages of drought and soaring summer temperatures, Dashville’s very own ‘slightly heavier’ festival, Thrashville, is returning in 2020.

Fans of the heavier side of the musical spectrum can rejoice because the grounds that house the likes of The Gum Ball and Dashville Skyline will be all about face-melting riffs on Saturday 12 September

While no announcement on the line-up as yet. Thrashville, which began life back in 2017, has hosted the likes of The Cosmic Psychos, Hard-Ons, Frenzal Rhomb, and Clowns alongside local acts Australian Beefweek Show, Zombonimo and Mucho Sonar – so expect the 2020 lineup to be next level.

Apparently the 2020 lineup will be announced in early March but until then, applications are open now for bands, visual artists and skaters so head here to register your interest NOW.

Thrashville provides heavy music fans a much-needed opportunity s to come together and enjoy both local and interstate artists in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Combined with pro skateboarding displays and live visual art, Dashville is endeavoring to continue providing a space for many who embrace the slightly heavier alternatives within music and art.

Thrashville will be on Saturday 12 September. Tickets are on sale from Thursday 13 February.
