From State of Origin action in the Sports Bar to live music, DJs and weekend drink specials, Harrigan’s Hunter Valley is gearing up for a packed month of entertainment this June.
Whether you’re looking to cheer on the Blues with mates, enjoy a Sunday session in the Hunter Valley, or settle in for a weekend of food, drinks and live music, the venue has put together a calendar designed to keep locals and visitors entertained throughout the month.
State of Origin Live & Loud

State of Origin returns to Harrigan’s Hunter Valley this month, with the venue screening every remaining game of the series live and loud in the Sports Bar.
Fans can catch Game Two on 17 June and Game Three on 8 July while enjoying a range of game-night specials. Guests who add “GO THE BLUES” to their dinner booking will receive a complimentary jug of Toohey’s New on arrival, making it even easier to settle in for an evening of footy.
The venue will also be running Happy Hour from 3pm to 5pm, Ribs Night from 5:30pm to 9pm and a range of footy food specials throughout the games. Jim Beam buckets will also be available for $30 during State of Origin matches.
Harrigan’s is encouraging fans to secure a table early and enjoy every tackle, try and game-changing moment alongside fellow Blues supporters.
Friday Nights: Happy Hour and Live Music

For those looking to kick-start the weekend, Fridays at Harrigan’s offer a combination of drink specials and live entertainment.
Happy Hour runs from 3pm to 5pm, featuring $7 house beers and $8.50 craft beers. Cocktail lovers can then take advantage of Cocktail Hour between 4pm and 6pm, with all cocktails priced at $18.
As the sun goes down, live music takes over from 8pm until 11pm, creating the perfect atmosphere for a Friday night in the Hunter Valley.
Saturday Sunset Sessions

Saturdays are all about good music, great drinks and relaxed Hunter Valley vibes.
Cocktail Hour returns from 3pm to 5pm, before Sunset DJ Sessions take over from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. As the evening continues, live bands hit the stage from 8:30pm until 11:30pm, giving patrons plenty of reasons to stay into the night.
The combination of DJs, live entertainment and food and beverage specials makes Saturdays one of the venue’s biggest social days of the week.
Sunday Sessions and Roast Night

Harrigan’s rounds out the weekend with a relaxed Sunday program featuring live music from 1pm to 4pm.
Sunset DJ Sessions then continue from 5pm until 8pm, providing the soundtrack to a laid-back evening in the Hunter Valley.
Guests can also enjoy Roast Night from 5:30pm to 9pm, offering a hearty finish to the weekend before another week begins.
