James Street Plaza will be transformed into an Asian street food paradise when the Hamilton Night Noodle Markets kick off tonight.
Local vendors will be serving up hawker-style Asian food as the hungry crowd enjoy live entertainment and colourful Chinese dance displays.
They’ll also be a stack of activities for the kids including face painting, balloon twisting, and a magic show from the Pretty Amazing Jono.
Curious Legends are bringing their giant illuminated Dragon too. It will roam the area and bring some much-needed warmth and colour to the winter night.
“Hamilton Night Noodle Markets is being held in the July school holidays to accommodate local families and visitors to the area giving a boost to the nighttime economy during the winter months,” Chair of Hamilton Business Association, Reece Hignell said.
“Personally, this has been a dream of mine to bring to Hamilton. The Board and I are so excited to see the Plaza activated in this way. If this is a success it could become an annual event.”
The Hamilton Night Noodle Markets are happening on on the 7th and 8th of July. Visit facebook.com/HelloHamiltonNSW to find out more.
