In April 2025, The Gum Ball festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary and today they dropped the first half of the artist lineup.
The announcement features an eclectic mix of 20 artists spanning genres and styles. Headliners include the iconic Ben Lee and the gritty rockers The Peep Tempel, alongside emerging and established acts such as Grace Cummings, The Stems, and Elana Stone.
Festival-goers can also look forward to performances by Kim Churchill, Karen Lee Andrews, 78 Saab, and indie favourites like Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks and Vanilla Gorilla.

Founded in 2004 by Matt “Magpie” Johnston, The Gum Ball began as a small, grassroots festival on Johnstonโs family property. Over the years, it has grown into a 3,000-capacity event while retaining its intimate, DIY ethos. Dashville, the festival’s venue, combines permaculture principles with a love for music, creating a serene and sustainable space for performers and audiences alike. This dedication to fostering its community and the natural environment has earned The Gum Ball its reputation as one of Australiaโs most cherished cultural events.
