Live music is coming back. That’s the message behind the Great Southern Nights initiative that will see over 1000 COVID-safe gigs happening across New South Wales in November 2020.
The event, that will see an array of events across Newcastle and the Hunter, is an NSW Government initiative to stimulate the revival of the live music and entertainment industry and in turn the visitor economy in the recovery phase of COVID-19.
While some of the biggest names in Australian music have signed on, the month-long event will also showcase some of the country’s best and brightest new acts.
All the gigs have been programmed in line with current NSW Government health advice regarding physical distancing and venue capacity of public gatherings. So rest assured you’ll be a safe gig-goer.
