A few weeks ago, we asked if you thought “the removal of Newcastle’s heavy rail line will be good for Newcastle & the Hunter?” We collected over 370 submissions. This morning, we closed the poll and can now reveal the results.
The result was very close, which in our mind demonstrates the divisive nature of the issue and hence why we asked the question.
184 of you said YES, the removal of Newcastle’s heavy rail line WOULD be good for Newcastle & the Hunter.
181 of you said NO, the removal of Newcastle’s heavy rail line WOULD NOT good for Newcastle & the Hunter.
9 of you said that you were UNDECIDED on the issue.
