Are you headed up to Lower Belford this weekend for Dashville Skyline? Well, we’ve got all the info you need to know before you go.
For the uninitiated, Skyline is a three-day, three-night celebration of alternative country music, offering a laid-back weekend perfect for spending quality time with family, enjoying great music, and soaking in the serenity of the surroundings. And this year, the festival is celebrating it’s 10th birthday.
The whole shebang happens in the heart of Wonnarua Country. It’s one of our favourite events every year, and you’ll just have to trust us because if you’ve never been you’ll never understand why people love it so much. It’s one of those things.
TICKETS
There are stacks of different ticket options for this year’s Cosmic Country Weekender. The main festival runs Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October. Thursday tickets are a great option for those who like to get in early and set up and you’ll be treated to Watty Thompson for your efforts.
You can also grab a single-day ticket, which includes the option to stay overnight and leave before 10 am the following day.
SKYLINE SET TIMES
Dashville Skyline is far more than just a country music festival—it’s a masterfully curated musical journey that weaves through a sprawling countryside. As you stroll through this scenic landscape, the sky above fills with stars and songs, while every step leads you deeper into a world of discovery. CAMPING
The camping area at Dashville Skyline is just a short stroll from the main arena, offering a convenient setup for festival-goers. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with ample space for everyone, including accommodations for those with special needs. If you’re planning to bring a caravan or camper, be sure to purchase a car/trailer pass to ensure your spot. Details below. You can also book a Glamping Experience with Belle Glamping.
CAR, TRAILER & VAN PASSES
This year, organisers of Skyline have implemented vehicle passes. So you won’t be able to bring your car, caravan or camper into the campground without a vehicle pass. The good news is, if you don’t need a car, caravan or camper to camp (or you’re not camping at all) you can leave it at the day parking zone outside the campground.
KIDS ACTIVITIES & OTHER THINGS TO DO
While the heart of the festival is about all the action happening onstage, there are stacks of things to do at Dashville Skyline including plenty of fun activities to keep the little ones – and the young at heart. Most workshops are included in your festival ticket, except for the Flower Crown Workshop, which is a ticketed event requiring pre-booking through Humanitix due to limited spots. The Basket Weaving workshop is free, but with a limited number of spaces, you’ll need to reserve your spot during the festival. This activity has a 10+ age restriction, and for all workshops, parental supervision is required at all times.
