Australian rock icons The Angels will hit Belmont 16s in July as part of their Go For Broke tour.

Fresh from the high of last year’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2024, the band is wasting no time forging ahead with a brand new tour that pays tribute to their storied past while leaning hard into the future.

Promising a setlist packed with hits that have defined generations of Aussie rock you can expect to hear crowd-shaking anthems like Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again, Take A Long Line, and No Secrets, alongside deeper cuts that hardcore fans will love.

But this isnโ€™t just a nostalgia trip, The Angels will also rip through some tracks from the bandโ€™s latest album, Ninety Nine.

“Last year was really special,” John Brewster said.

“And that was down to all our fans who made the 50 Not Out tour one to remember. But I also really feel this is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for The Angels.”

Ninety Nine (Go For Broke), the lead single, channels the groupโ€™s signature punch with a modern edge. The track doesnโ€™t hold back, taking aim at inequality and the growing gap between the super-rich and everyone else. Itโ€™s a reminder that The Angels have always been more than just loud guitars โ€” theyโ€™ve got something to say, and theyโ€™re saying it louder than ever.

The band – now comprising John, Rick, Sam, and Tom Brewster, along with frontman Nick Norton – have been drawing a diverse crowd to their most recent show, with longtime fans shoulder to shoulder with new generations discovering the power of the band’s raw, unfiltered rock.
