Fan’s of metal are in for one hell of a treat when Belgium band, Aborted and Tasmanian powerhouse Psycroptic rip it up on their co-headline bill at the Cambridge Hotel tomorrow night (June 17).

Aborted are set to deliver their aural blows with a maximum of versatility and hard-hitting brutality tomorrow night at the camvo. The band who successfully melt the technical abilities of Suffocation and Cannibal Corpse with the melodic incisions of European flavours. Aborted hack, slash, cut, grind, blast, groove, crush, rip, tear, destroy, kill in every way humanely possible with their music and live shows. This approach has earned them a dedicated fan base over the past years.

Hailing from the remote island of Tasmania, Psycroptic have progressively carved a niche of their own within today’s metal scene. Staying clear of trends, the band incorporate many elements of music, extreme and otherwise, to capture a sound that is uniquely their own. Not to be pigeonholed, Psycroptic stand apart from the horde and add a fresh element in the extreme metal realm with their precise blend of brutality, intensity and groove.
