GALLERY: Glam Gods reunite for Archiefest

We headed down to the Croatian Wickham Sports Club on Sunday in support of Archiefest. The event had been organised to raise much-needed funds for the family of Robert ‘Archie’ Archbold, a local music loving identity who passed away unexpectedly late last month. There was a strong crowd early in the day and the only kept coming as some of Newcastle’s most loved musos took to the stage.

A big thanks to Swamp House for another awesome gallery.

If you couldn’t make it to the show, you can donate to the family here – The account name is Shantel Archbold BSB number is 732-370 & account number is. 551030

At 16 years old, on a balmy May Friday night way back in 1975. I rolled up to the Forestville Youth Centre (The Forrie Bop) tickets were a couple of dollars and the band on the night included the likes of Bon Scott, Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Paul Matters and Phil Rudd, yes ‘ACDC’ all for $2.00, can you believe that.
