It was a big night at Bankstown sports club for local entertainer, Wayne Rogers & Novocastrian-based band, Funky Do Da’s, with both acts taking home a ‘MO’ Award last night.
The Mo Awards are a long-running annual Australian entertainment industry awards night that recognises achievements in live entertainment in Australia.
Local entertainer and female impersonator Wayne Rogers took out the award for Best Versatile/Variety act, and Funky Do Da’s took home the Tommy Tycho Accompanying Band trophy.
A big Newcastle Live congratulations to both acts. A fantastic result and a great win for Newcastle entertainment.
