Funk at the Del this Saturday night

Make your weekend ‘funk pop bootyful funktion behind a clock’s back without getting wet’, this Saturday night at Hotel Delany.

With an energetic stage show built on top the world’s most loved funk tunes, Funkapedia have been delivering tight sets that have gotten local dance floors shaking under the weight. Front man, Heavy Dee says the band grew out of a desire to bring fun back to the stage.

“We don’t take ourselves too seriously, that’s the key. We want to have fun with the punters and give them something they don’t get every Saturday night.”

“Our band is all about the audience and what they want, and in our experience what they want is fun and some energy from the stage.”

Check a live audio recording of the band performing the Root’s hit The Seed.

Funkapedia take to the stage for the first time at the Del this Saturday (May 31) night from 9pm. For more information about the band visit their website – http://funkapedia.com.au/
